Yes. Labor only jobs have a 3 hour minimum, with travel time included, Monday through Saturday. The same minimum applies whether we load a truck, unload a container or move furniture inside your home, so it often makes sense to group a few tasks into one visit.

No to both. On labor only jobs you rent the truck or container and drive it yourself, and our crew handles the loading and unloading with our own moving gear. Our crews never drive a customer's rental truck. If you would rather we bring the truck and drive, book a full local move instead.

Yes. We load and unload PODS, U-Box and other portable containers, plus steel shipping containers. Containers have no padding of their own, so we wrap the furniture and pack the load tight. Book the crew for a day the container is in your driveway.

It depends on how much you have, how well it is boxed, the stairs and the walk to the truck, and the size of the crew. Tell us what you are moving and we will tell you how long to plan for.

It depends on what you want to handle yourself. A container or rental truck with labor only help works well if you are comfortable driving or waiting on the container company's schedule. Yes. Our crew arrives with hand trucks, furniture dollies, moving blankets and straps, so you do not need to rent pads with your truck. We wrap furniture before it leaves the room and strap the load in sections as it goes in, which keeps pieces from shifting while you drive.

Yes. We take apart beds, tables and similar pieces so they load safely, and put them back together at the other end. Keep the screws and bolts for each piece in a labeled bag taped to it, or let us bag them as we go, so nothing goes missing between the old house and the new one.

Yes. A sofa that will not make the turn, a dresser going upstairs or an appliance headed to the basement are all labor only jobs. The 3 hour minimum still applies, so many people add a few other heavy pieces or a room they have been meaning to rearrange to the same visit.

We cannot move hazardous items such as gasoline, propane tanks, paint, cleaning chemicals or ammunition. Those are unsafe in a closed truck or container no matter who loads it. Have the truck or container parked close to the door, boxes packed and taped, drawers emptied, beds stripped and a clear path through the house. Pick up the rental early enough that it is waiting when the crew arrives. That lets the crew start loading the minute they get there instead of waiting on the truck.

Yes. We can load your truck at your old home and then meet you at the new one to unload, on the same day or on separate days. Give us both addresses when you request a free quote so we can plan the crew and the timing for both stops.
